Long way to Mac OS
Either technique has become more accessible, whether evolution has to win, then I became an adult, but there has long been the primary OS at work and at home has become OS X
The evolutionary path of OS in the workplace was so:
DOS (5.0 ... 6.22) -> Windows 3.0 -> Windows 3.1 (1) -> Windows 95 -> Windows 98 -> Windows NT 4.0 -> Windows XP (I have not forgotten about Windows Me, Windows 2000 and Windows Vista, just not used)
Next, the path forks:
Ubuntu 8 (9, 10, 11) - at work, at home
Windows 7 - at home
MacOS (10.5, 10.6, 10.7) - at work, at home.
My experience working in different operating systems:
- Windows 7 - very good Operating System, but I like Ubuntu (up to 11 version) more than Windows, although for home users it's almost perfect, except for OS X
- Ubuntu 11-th version I did not like a lot of glitches with Unity and the support of old iron. Maybe OS X at me like affected
- OS X better than Ubuntu, but I still run Lion less comfortable than in Snow Leopard. Maybe not yet accustomed to, and glitches, such as the WiFi is very unpleasant.
For my task - OS X works best, both at home and at work.
- That school will teach first-graders on Mac, the truth will be a shame if this will result in the installation of Windows on this hardware.
questions to the readers - what OS are you use at work? What OS are you use at home?
